The U7 squad this year has a wide and diverse range of
skills; some have come to the age group from our own young "Bulldog" section
where they have learned the passing skills which are essential to playing tag,
while other members have joined us for the first time this season. This has
made for interesting and varied coaching techniques to ensure all members have
arrived at a standard skill base to allow them to compete in matches.
This is an exciting age group to watch so if you ever have a
few minutes to spare either during watching another age group either at
training or on match days just stop and watch the delight on the children's
face as they successfully make a tag or score a try. It shows what the game of
rugby is all about.
